Hello all here at "We Can See". I just found this book - my two classes are catching up on reading the blog after a while away (reading books about our current inquiries and making a new book of our own to share).
I love this book and this site - I think the students who are a part of this blog will have memories about their world to last for a lifetime. At an emergent curriculum conference I recently attended, the keynote speaker Lilian Katz spoke about the importance of "building reporting to class into project work: (we) help students decide how and what to share". Writing to virtual pals, sharing pictures, asking questions, offering comments - all authentic ways for students to communicate and take ownership of their shared creations. What a gift this site is!
Hi "We Can See" participants!
ReplyDeleteCan you believe it is almost the end of February already? Before we know it the Spring will be here!
I cannot wait to see all of the beautiful photographs of buds and blossoms!!
Hope you are all well,
Joanne
